Andres Ferrate has been with Google since 2010, and he is currently the Chief Advocate for Ad Traffic Quality. He is part of a team of warrior scientists tasked with defending Google's ad systems against ad fraud. Prior to joining Google he founded Cartosoft, a geospatial solutions provider, and he also served as Vice President of Operations for Geographic Technologies Group - a leading provider of geospatial services and software for local governments throughout the U.S. He has worked in the public, private, and non-profit sectors, and his experience ranges from small startups to large organizations such as The World Bank.
