How do I pre-register for sessions I want to attend?

No need to pre-register for any of the sessions on the agenda! Attendees are welcome to select their desired session right on site.

Conference, Plus, and Premium Passes can be upgraded by visiting this direct upgrade link and selecting ‘Conference to Plus’, ‘Plus to Premium’ or  ‘Premium to Platinum’.

AM Workshops are a selection of intensive morning workshops exclusive to those with a Plus, Premium or Platinum Pass. The AM Workshops take place on Wednesday, August 28th, 8:30am – 12:30pm. To learn more, visit the AM Workshops page.

From O’Hare International Airport (22 Miles), Northwest or the North:

Follow I-190 East to I-90 East. This turns into I-90/94 East (Dan Ryan Expressway). Keeping to the right, follow to I-55 North (Stevenson Expressway). Exit at Martin L. King Drive (Exit #293D) and follow signs to Lot A entrance ramp located immediately to your left.

From the West:

Take I-290 East (Eisenhower Expressway) to I-94 East (Dan Ryan Expressway). Keeping to the right, follow to I-55 North (Stevenson Expressway). Exit at Martin L. King Drive (Exit #293D) and follow signs to Lot A entrance ramp located immediately to your left.

From Midway Airport (10 Miles) or Southwest:

Take I-55 North (Stevenson Expressway). Exit at Martin L. King Drive (Exit #293D) and follow signs to Lot A entrance ramp located immediately to your left.

From the South or Indiana Via I-80/94:

From I-80/94, exit at I-94 West (Bishop Ford Expressway) and proceed on I-94 West (Dan Ryan Expressway). Follow to I-55 North (Stevenson Expressway). Exit at Martin L. King Drive (Exit #293D) and follow signs to Lot A entrance ramp located immediately to your left.

From Indiana-Skyway:

Take I-90 West (Indiana Tollway turns into the Chicago Skyway). Merge onto I-90/94 West (Dan Ryan Expressway). Exit at I-55 North (Stevenson Expressway). Exit at Martin L. King Drive (Exit #293D) and follow signs to Lot A entrance ramp located immediately to your left.

From North Lake Shore Drive (Us-41):

From Lake Shore Drive, exit at 31st Street and turn right (West). Turn right again on Martin L. King Drive. Turn left on 24th Place. Follow signs to Lot A.

From South Lake Shore Drive (Us-41):

From Lake Shore Drive, exit at 31st Sreet. and turn left (West). Turn right on Martin L. King Drive. Turn left on 24th Place. Follow signs to Lot A.

From Congress Parkway:

From Congress Parkway, turn right onto Michigan Avenue Proceed south to Cermak Road. (E. 22nd Street). Turn left on Cermak Road, to Martin Luther King Drive. Follow signs to Lot A.

There are several parking options offered at the McCormick Place. Visit the parking page to check the most up to date rates.

Lot C (closest to the Digital Summit Event Space) – Fort Dearborn Drive, Chicago, IL 60616: (6’4″ height clearance) is an underground garage with 1,900 parking spaces and is located on Ft. Dearborn Drive, adjacent to the Lakeside Center. The parking rate is a flat fee of $23 per day with no in-and-out privileges.* This parking lot is open throughout event hours. Overnight parking is not available.

Lot A – 2301 South Prairie Avenue, Chicago, IL 60616: (8′ height clearance) is a six level garage with 2,100 parking spaces located on Martin Luther King Drive, adjacent to the West Building. Covered walkways from Lot A leading directly into McCormick Place and the Hyatt Regency McCormick Place Hotel also provide added convenience. The parking rate is $23 for up to 16 hours and $36 from 16 to 24 hours.* There are no in-and-out privileges. Overnight parking is available in Lot A only. Lost tickets will pay the $36 (overnight) fee per day.

Lot B – 3050 South Moe Drive, Chicago, IL 60616: (also known as 31st Street Lot) is an outdoor surface parking lot located at 31st Street near Lake Shore Drive South and Moe Drive. It holds over 1,800 vehicles. The parking rate is a flat fee of $15 per day with no in-and-out privileges.*This parking lot is open throughout event hours. Overnight parking is not available. A complimentary shuttle will be provided between lot B and the convention center.

* Credit Cards are accepted at the parking pay stations.

Riding the CTA to and from McCormick Place

CTA “L” Train routes our designated by colors and terminating stations. When traveling to McCormick Place from the downtown Loop, make sure to enter the southbound Green Line Cottage Grove or Ashland/63rd Branch trains as indicated on the platform and train display cards. When returning to the Loop from McCormick Place use the northbound platform marked “Harlem/Lake”.

Optional Cermak #21 Bus Transfer

For an additional $.25 transfer fare, Green Line riders transfer to an East bound Cermak Road #21 Bus located directly below the station platform on Cermak Road. As an alternative option to walking, The #21 bus stops directly in front of McCormick Place.

METRA Electric Commuter Railroad

Located on Level 2.5 of the Grand Concourse in the South Building, the METRA Electric commuter railroad provides direct service within seven minutes to and from downtown Chicago. Service from the Millennium (Randolph St.) Station (near the Fairmont Hotel) to McCormick Place begins early morning, with more frequent pick-ups during rush hours.

Biking

McCormick Place has several public bike racks located around the facility. Please view the Bike Rack Locations map to choose the rack closest to your venue. McCormick Place is part of the City of Chicago Bike Sharing System called Divvy. A 24-hour pass can be purchased at at Divvy Bike station for day of unlimited 30-minute trips. Bikes can be reserved and dropped off at any Divvy station around the city, including the station located in McCormick Square – 2301 S. King Drive. There’s also an additional station located at Cermak and Wabash near the Cermak – McCormick Place Green Line Station. For more information including a system wide map, visit: www.divvybikes.com

You’ll find a range of attire at the conference but generally most attendees are in business casual. Temperatures in conference halls may fluctuate widely. It’s advised to dress in layers.

Attendees will receive an email within one week of event closing with a post-event survey and access information to view presentations via a secure portal from the Digital Summit website. Please note that presentations will not be available to download, but will be available for viewing for 6 weeks after the event.

It’s of utmost importance to us that the conference be informative, valuable and fun for all. If there is anything we can do to make for a better experience, please let us know by filling out our post-event survey immediately following the conference. We read EVERY one, and use them to shape our future conferences.
